http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/downloads/ points to VC++ 2008 Express Edition Wilbert 13:12, 22 February 2008 (PST)

The only MSVC++ environment I could find right now for download on the MS website is MSVC++ 2010 Express. I was able to use the 2010 version to compile the sample plugin SimpleSample.cpp into a working DLL for Avisynth 2.58. I think this should be mentioned somewhere on the wiki; just not sure where. --Jbeale 17:06, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
