From Avisynth

[edit] AviSynth crashes the second I enable it. (Windows 7 x64)

I've tried checking/unchecking every box in the AviSynth tab (in ffdshow config), and erasing all text in the box so that no script is running at all, yet the second I enable AviSynth, Media Player Classic immediately crashes.

[edit] I am having trouble reversing a video and I get the following message...

VirtualDub Error Avisynth open failure: AVISource autodetect: couldn't open file 'mymovie.avi' Error code: 2 mymovie_reverse.avs, line 1

Any ideas how to fix this?

[edit] i cant install avisynth.

after downloading avisynth it save on my folder in downloads and then i extract it and it install.. and then it stops there it says that cannot write in the avisynth derectory.. pls help me how to install avisynth in most easy or effective way.. i really want avisynth badly pls help me...

If you can't get the Version () seen on Windows Media Player 11 try to work with DivX player (7.2.0) it can read it in this vista machine. The end.
